2. Visa fee(Application and processing) as of July 01, 2005
o Single Entry : Rs.1,350
o Multiple Entry : Rs.3,600
o Long term(over 90days) : Rs.2,250
o USA National : Rs.2,025
* Dependents whose-name are entered on parents passport, if accompanying, pay fees separately.

3. Notice
o A visa does not entitle the bearer to enter the Republic of Korea upon arrival at the port of entry if he/she is found inadmissible.
o Any false or misleading statement may result in the refusal of a visa.
o Short-term visas (C-2, C-3, etc.) can not be extended or altered unless otherwise notified.
o If the sojourn is of over 90 days, the foreigner shall register with the chief of office or the chief of the branch office with jurisdiction over the place of sojourn
o Applicants must check the requirements prior to application of the visas in order to avoid delay

The applicant should have a valid passport, one visa form (Application for visa), and one passport size photograph, Additional documents are required agreeably to the visa status as mentioned below

o Business Visa
- Covering letter(on the letter head of the company/institute/organization)
- Confirmed round-trip air ticket
- Invitation Letter from the Korean company
- Company registration cetificate of the Korean company
- Company profile in brief
- Bank statement of last 3 months
- IT return of previous year
- Visa fee : Rs.1,350/-

o Tourist Visa
- Covering letter(on the letter head of the company/institute/organization)
- Confirmed round-trip air ticket
- Hotel confirmation
- Bank statement for last 3 months
- IT return of previous year
- ID card + Leave letter(from the school/college, in case of student)
- Visa fee : Rs.1,350/-

o Transit Visa
- Covering letter(on the letter head of the company/institute/organization)
- Confirmed round-trip air ticket
- Correspondence / Documents clarifying purpose of entry to destination country

o Short-Term Empolyment Visa
- Document clarifying present professional & social status
- Letter of Employment Contract
- Letter of recommendation of employment issued by the head of the relevant central government agency (an entertainer needs a letter of performance recommendation issued by the Image Stuff Classification Committee), an official letter from the relevant government agency or documents proving the necessity of employment.
- Visa Fee : Rs.1,350/-

o Long-Term Empolyment Visa(more than 90 days)
- Certificate for confirmation of visa issuance issued from immagration office korea(original to be submitted)
- Copy of the Employment Contact
- Visa Fee : Rs.2,250/-

o Student Visa
- Certificate of admission issued by the president of the college or university
- Certificate for last school attended (Copy of the mark sheet & passing certificate)
- Letter of personal reference notarized or financial affidavit
- Bank Statement in case fee is paid by the student themselves
- Visa fee : Rs.1,350/- (For 3 months), Rs.2,250/- ( For more than 3 months)

o Seaman Visa
- Covering letter from the shipping agency.
- Invitation & guarantee letter from the Korean Shipping agency & registration of the KSA
- CDC (CONTINUOUS DISCHARGE CERTIFICATE)
- Visa fee : Rs.1,350/-

o Family to Join Seaman
- Invitation letter from the Korean Shipping agency
- Photocopy of the passport & CDC of the spouse
- Visa fee : Rs.1,350/-

o Dependent Visa
- Invitation from the spouse/relative staying in Korea (must include the name, passport no, period of stay)
- Certificate for confirmation of visa issuance
- Photocopy of the Alien registration card
- Spouse's name should be endoresd, in case it is not so applicant will have to provide marrige registration
- Visa fee : Rs.2,250/- (For more than 3 months)

o Priviledged Passport-Holder(Diplomatic/Official/UN passport)
- Visa note from Ministry of External Affairs
- Visa note from concerned organization/Embassy

5. CERTIFICATE FOR CONFIRMATION OF VISA ISSUANCE
This is a document issued by the chief of a district or branch office in Korea for the simplicity of processing and shortening the time of visa issuance. As well, in certain cases, thus document is required before applying for a visa to Korean Consulate abroad.

International driver's license

International driver's license is an internationally recognized translationof your domestic driver's license. It must be accompanied by your driverlicense when you travel.

Re-issuance
The license is reissued only when the person comes back to the country. In principle, the applicant must apply in person. * Issuance by proxy: The certificate for entrance to the country is required.* The license will not be renewed if the applicant resides in the foreign country for longer than a year without coming back to Korea.* When applying for re-issuance prior to the expiration date - The existing international driver's license must be returned. If it was lost, then report loss of the driver's license first and then apply for re-issuance. - Valid period for the reissued driver's license: 1 year from the date of reissue* Legal issue - Under the Paragraph 2, Article 1 of Geneva International Convention concerning the Road Traffic, driving with the international driver's license issued through a proxy is considered as driving with a valid license.
Others
* The applicant must apply in person. Applying by proxy is allowed only when it can be proved that the applicant is residing in Korea by a passport or the immigration office certificate. Therefore, the proxy's identification card, the applicant's passport or the immigration office certificate are required in addition to the above required documents.* Those who requested postponement of the license renewal must renew the driver's license by bringing the passport or the immigrations office certificate within 3 months of entering Korea. Otherwise, a fine will be imposed or the license canceled.* Fee for postponing the domestic license renewal: 1,000 won

1) Get the Taxi @ Gung-Dong & go to Yuseong Express BusTerminal
(유성 고속 버스터미날)

2) Get the Bus to Seoul [Bus Fare 11,300 Korean Won]

3) When You reach Bus-Terminal, Take the Subway line 3 [Orange Line] to Oksu Station
(옥수 역).



4) Take the Exit 4 or 5, Walk along the direction Pointed in the map



5) You can reach Indian Embassy in 20 mins by Walk :)
